Discover the delights of Cusworth Hall, Cusworth Hall is an imposing 18th century country house set in extensive landscaped parklands, once home to the Battie-Wrightson family. The Grade 1 listed house is deemed a site of special interest due to thepreservation of all elements of a Georgian country house. It houses displays about the history of Doncaster and its people.
The Hall and Parkhave recentlyundergone a major refurbishment programme: which included roofs on the buildings being replaced and stonework repaired. While in the chapel, ceiling paintings which have not been seen for 50 years have been revealed by painstaking conservation.
Visitors can also enjoy real country fare in Cusworth's Tea Room, amidst plenty of old world charm and character. Why not try some delicious home-baked cakes and pastries, as well as a range of snacks, daily specials and ice cream. |
